Hi David,

Always great to catch up with you. I've been traveling in India, Or and France this past month for various SoL events. I did make it home for Mother's Day and will have to think what my equivalent tribute would be.

I loved this piece and it made me think that perhaps my own eccentricities will have good effect on my nieces and nephews - I hope I get to see what they will say 20 or 30 years from now.

I spent a few hours in an old bookstore yesterday, looking for things I would want to keep on my bookshelf about India. At the same time, I found myself doing research on Indian fiction - and an hour or two had gone by! Not sure that I've managed to pass on this love of books to anyone else. Glad your mom planted this seed for you!

Thank you for writing some more about who you are and what made you that way :). I'm glad you listened to my begging (ahem) and let us a little farther into the world that is Word Shepherd.

Now you'll have to tell us about the first time you had sex.

Kidding! Or not.
