Hi Karen. I thought I had instructed the crows to eat all the breadcrumbs, but welcome anyway!

I'm not sure what Nanci Griffith is doing is any less self-indulgent than what Pat Boone did. Before this album she tried a covers album of torch songs. A little easier on the ears and eyes, perhaps.

Well,
First off "hello" I followed trish in through a complicated set of bread crumbs.

I am sad to say that I never heard of Nanci before today.
I loved the title of your piece and your last line. I also love the title of your blog which was why I popped my head in.

The one thought after reading your piece that I will leave you to ponder....even if your teenage hero lacks something these days.....at least she didn't dress herself in a leather vest and try heavy metal like Pat Boone.
come in and see me sometime.
